Rebecca has always shown a love for the performing arts, when she was young it was a way for her to get some of her hyperactivity out and as she grew older it developed into a deep passion which taught her how to address every day with resilience. Rebecca has been dancing for 18 years and uses dance and choreography as a means to express emotions and deal with difficult situations. She is trained in RAD ballet, TDI jazz and NZAMD contemporary.
Some of Rebecca's dancing highlights include a PACANZ championship, a partnership with breast cancer cure fashion shows and New Zealand fashion week and a partnership with Otago Rugby, leading and performing halftime shows. Rebecca also led the Otago dance association performance troupe which performed nationally.
Rebecca’s field of study lies a bit further out from the performing arts. She is currently undertaking her master's degree in nutrition and dietetics intending to become a registered dietician. However, a part of her love for health care is the opportunities where she gets to work with kids, sometimes making big differences in their well-being. Rebecca is all about supporting a class environment that focuses on inclusivity and mutual respect for all performers. Most importantly Rebecca wants every kid that leaves her class to feel energised and happy after having had a ball of fun!
