More Than Performing Arts. Confidence for Life!
At Pform, we believe the performing arts have the power to change lives.
Since 1999, we've been inspiring children and young people to discover their creativity, develop their confidence and experience the joy of performing.
What began as a passion for bringing quality performing arts education into local communities has grown into one of New Zealand's established children's performing arts organisations, with classes, productions and performance opportunities across Auckland and Northland.
And while we've grown, our philosophy has remained the same:
Every child deserves the opportunity to shine.
Confidence Comes First
At Pform, we know that not every child arrives ready to jump into the spotlight.
Some are naturally outgoing. Others are shy, uncertain or simply looking for somewhere they can belong.
We welcome them all.
Our programmes are designed to help children develop confidence at their own pace, through creativity, teamwork, self-expression and the excitement of learning something new.
Of course, we teach dancing, singing and acting. But the skills our students develop go far beyond the stage.
They learn to communicate, collaborate, take creative risks, overcome challenges and believe in themselves.
Because the confidence they build at Pform stays with them long after the curtain falls.

Our large-scale theatre productions give students the unforgettable experience of stepping onto professional stages, working as part of a cast and celebrating everything they've achieved.
For those who want to take their training further, our advanced companies, competition troupes and musical theatre productions provide additional challenges and opportunities to develop as young performers.
Whether it's a first performance or a major theatrical production, we believe the journey is just as important as the final bow.

Ilse Betanzo
Ilse has been dancing for as long as she can remember and fell in love the first time she stepped into a studio. She joined Pform.nz in 2019 and has progressed through to the Aslan Dance Troupe where she was able to further hone her skills and enter into competitions. Her favourite styles include commercial jazz and contemporary. She has performed in countless shows and her performance highlights include an on-stage dance at Disneyland!
She aims to be as optimistic and positive as possible, creating a safe and welcoming environment in her classes each week. Ilse believes that performing arts helps her to express herself and wants to pass that on to her students.
