Hamish Lloyd

Diploma in Acting

Hamish graduated from Atlantic Acting School in New York City with a Diploma in Acting. He has also studied at the Stella Adler Studio and the Michael Chekhov Studio, both in New York City. While living and studying in New York City, Hamish gained a huge amount of skills in acting for both stage and screen. Since graduating, Hamish has worked throughout New Zealand, entertaining thousands of children in multiple stage shows for children. He has also appeared on South Pacific Pictures’ Shortland Street as a guest star and worked on a Netflix TV show.


Hamish loves passing the skills he has learned onto the children in his classes. As someone who has also been on stage in Mamma Mia, Hairspray, Evita, Phantom of the Opera and Joseph, he is thrilled to revive his musical theatre skills. As someone who has always been passionate about drama, Hamish enjoys building scenes and finding characters with his students. Drama was the best place for Hamish to express himself as a child, so he hopes his students can find the same welcoming environment in his classes.
