Dani King

Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Psychology and Criminology

Starting as a ⁦Pform.nz⁩ student herself, Dani is trained in dance, drama, and singing with a particular passion for acting. Dani was one of the founding members of our advanced acting troupe Flying Monkeys. She has also been a part of Pform.nz’s dance troupes, and Glee Club. Dani has travelled overseas with Pform.nz as a performer to both New York and Los Angeles. She has also performed at New Zealand’s Sheilah Winn Shakespeare festival in Wellington.

As a tutor, Dani provides a safe space for her performers to feel confident and find their voice. She encourages her performers to be present, to let go of self and peer judgement. Dani values honesty in performance and motivates her students to trust their instincts and take creative risks - without fear of failure.
