Bachelor of Arts (Sociology and Drama)

Evie began her drama training at a young age and was quickly captivated by the stage. She has participated in multiple stage shows and musicals with a variety of companies throughout Auckland. Evie was an avid member of the Performing Arts department at her school, studying drama at an accelerated level, completing NCEA early and going on to participate in the NZQA scholarship exam. She also frequented extra-curricular clubs and participated in competitions such as SGCNZ University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival. She was the Drama Leader at MAGS and a member of the Arts Executive Committee and Drama Committee. Evie has also completed screen acting and accent training courses with LBF Actors, an agency which she also belongs to. In 2023, Evie auditioned for an intensive television acting course in New York at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She was accepted and awarded a scholarship, and completed the program in New York in July of 2023.

Evie’s goal is to create an inclusive and warm environment for students to grow a love of performing arts and find their personal confidence!
